Boston School for the Deaf, primary building
Title
Boston School for the Deaf, primary building
Description
The Boston School for the Deaf was located at 800 North Main St. It moved to the Randolph campus in 1904, 5 years after opening, and closed in 1994 due to declining enrollment. As of 2020, its campus is home to the Boston Higashi School, which educates children with autism. This image shows the side and back of the school's primary building; the back of the building appears to house a garden. A caption in the top left corner of the image reads "Primary Building, Boston School for the Deaf, Randolph, Mass." The back of the card has a message to Mr. and Mrs. Koyel (?) of Worcester, MA, from their son Paul.
