Truck filled with scrap for the World War II scrap drive
Title
Truck filled with scrap for the World War II scrap drive
Description
In 1942, Randolph citizens, spearheaded by the schools, held a scrap drive to support America's war effort in World War II. This image shows three men on North Main St., by the Maguire/Brennan Estate, posing by a truck with a bed completely filled with tires and other scrap. The man wearing a suit is Randolph Theatre owner Ed Brady. In the background, a barber shop can be seen, as well as a building with striped window awnings on the second floor.
