Turner Free Library

Description

This building, housing the Turner Free Library, was built in 1875 and burned down in 1962. This postcard has been colorized, likely through hand-painting the original photograph. A caption beneath the image reads "Turner Library, Randolph, Mass." This original postcard was sent to Mrs. A. G. Acker of South Boston by "Nellie". The message reads "Too bad you did not stay until the next car as Burt brought home a box of chocolates. He went in the house just ahead of me. Will bring you in a taste if I come."
