Carl L. Macauley was a Randolph police officer who was elected Police Chief in 1962. He died on November 24, 1971; his burial was on November 28, 1971 at Central Cemetery. The police officers who carried his coffin included (left side, front to rear) J. Henault, D. Hill, R. Bennotti, H. Eaton, (right side, front to rear) R. Barnes, A. Hughes, K. Healey, and R. Mahan.
