Trifold postcard: Randolph War Bond Drive
Title
Trifold postcard: Randolph War Bond Drive
Description
This trifold postcard opens up to reveal the words "Greetings from Home" and "U S A V four letter drill formation by school children (see photo), Randolph War Bond Drive, Stetson Field, April 18, 1942". The image on the card, which was intended to be sent to soldiers overseas, shows the children of Randolph schools standing in formations that form the shapes of letters, presumably meant to be U, S, A, and V. The back of the card reads "Greetings from Randolph, Mass."; the side for the address and stamp reads "To all the Boys from Randolph and the whole United States: We're not forgetting Uncle Sam and we're not forgetting you. We'll help you keep it flying!"
