Miniature postcard: Glen Echo Park and lake
Title
Miniature postcard: Glen Echo Park and lake
Description
Glen Echo Park was a popular recreation spot for Randolph residents, located just over the border in Stoughton. The resort was owned by the Bristol and Norfolk Street Railway Company and included a hotel, which can be seen behind the trees in this image, as well as a dance pavilion, a bowling alley, bathhouses, a picnic area, a ballfield, and boating facilities. This image has been colorized, likely by hand-tinting. A caption in the upper right corner of the image reads "Glen Echo Park and Lake showing the Hotel, Randolph, Mass."
