Title

Miniature postcard: Glen Echo Lake from Glen Echo Park

Description

Glen Echo Park was a popular recreation spot for Randolph residents, located just over the border in Stoughton. The resort was owned by the Bristol and Norfolk Street Railway Company and included a hotel, a dance pavilion, a bowling alley, bathhouses, a picnic area, a ballfield, and boating facilities. This miniature postcard shows Glen Echo Lake, with a dock and a small building (possibly a boathouse) visible on the right. This image has been colorized, likely through hand-coloring. A caption at the bottom of the image reads "Glen Echo Lake from Glen Echo Park, Randolph, Mass."
