Description

At the time this photograph was taken, Crawford Square was known as Central Square. This image shows the Howard House Hotel, which was torn down ca. 1925, on the right. To the left stand the Turner Free Library and the Turner/Beach Estate. A caption beneath the image reads "Central Sq. looking north, Randolph, Mass. #4192." The back of the card has a message to Mabel L. Scott of Randolph from R. J. W.
