Warren St. railroad station, looking northeast
Title
Warren St. railroad station, looking northeast
Description
This railroad branch, built in the 1860s, ran from Braintree Highlands through Randolph, South Stoughton, North Easton, North Raynham, Taunton, Dighton, and Fall River. The passenger station seen here was located at the corner of Warren and Depot Sts. In this image, the buildings on each side of the tracks can be seen; the smaller building on the left has a sign on it on which the words "Grossman's" and "Genasco" can be read, probably an ad for Genasco asphalt shingles being sold at Grossman's store.
